My journey back into aviation!

This pilot shortage has created an opportunity I had not anticipated. I’m now lucky enough to be flying a Gulfstream G200 around North America and into the Caribbean, gaining valuable international and oceanic experience. In January of 2023, I wouldn’t have believed any of this was possible, and for everything I have now, I am grateful.
I understand businesses are seeking to differentiate themselves through superior customer experience; and I provide that. I firmly believe teamwork and collaboration in the back end strongly support a positive client experience at the front end. I am committed to operating in a fast-paced environment, with superior customer service skills and an outstanding safety record.
While I respect my limitations, I am ready to learn! I have a great attitude, am open to learning new things, am devoted to safety, have great airmanship and solid decision-making. My corporate experience flying people and cargo in the charter business in the Maritimes is invaluable and can’t be duplicated. I am fully aware of the dedication, work ethic, and focus that is required to be a good pilot and sold crew member. I am learning with humility how adaptability is a huge asset in aviation as plans emerge, evolve and then cease. Especially true in the more urgent settings of take-off and landings, managing complexity in safety critical systems requires adaptability to rise to the rapid emergence of important new challenges that can present themselves at inopportune moments. Being caught off-guard carries significant consequences.  My ultimate goal was to get back in the cockpit, study hard and quickly become an effective line pilot and valued employee. My journey continues……

The Gulfstream G200 is a pressurized, low-wing, transport category aircraft with an all-metal airframe and secondary composite materials. It’s powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW306A two-spool, turbo-fan engines. The aircraft requires two crew, is equipped for RVSM operations and can be flown day, or night, in IFR and known icing conditions conditions.
